The Power behind Horses and Youth:

When you partner children, teenagers or young adults with horses it spells SUCCESS! The horses innately captivate and challenge young minds, no matter what a child’s background, strengths or challenges may be. One of the great benefits of EAL for children is that it does not require youth to be verbal about their feelings and thoughts: Instead, it lets them receive feedback from an unbiased source, the horse. This uniquely therapeutic and rich learning environment cultivates incredible opportunities for your child or your organizations children to explore, discover and enrich themselves on so many levels. At Horse Empower, we offer a variety of programs that are designed to meet the needs of our community’s youth.

Youth Leadership Programs:

Our unique group programs create experiences to inspire youth to reach their full potential and provide confidence and alternative skills to help them overcome challenges and cope with the social pressures they face today. Partnered with a horse, students are encouraged to be creative, innovative, accept responsibility and accountability to ultimately overcome barriers and achieve objectives. Through effective communication, participants recognize the value of mutual trust, respect and personal integrity to help guide them in their everyday life.

Future Leader Program Options:

Imagine a learning program that kids are excited to attend. A program that delivers results through experiences, unforgettable experiences with horses. A customized program designed to support and deliver on the youth development, current areas of study, goals of your school, association or youth group. Future leaders at Horse Empower will work with horses and their teammates to achieve their goals which we then link to their own experiences at school, home and in the community. Non-verbal communication, assertiveness, creative thinking, leadership, responsibility, confidence and team work are several examples of the skills students will develop to help them recognize and demonstrate exemplary leadership qualities.
